Turnberry, one of Scotland's most renowned golf courses is situated on the Ayrshire coast and will always be remembered for the famous duel in the sun when Watson overcame Nicklaus.
However, Scotland's South West, of which Ayrshire is the main part, boasts many other course - some famous like Troon and Old Prestwick - some, like the new Dundonald, Glasgow Gailes, Western Gailes and Maybole whose reputations are hidden but which often provide a more exciting challenge. There are 104 courses in South West Scotland. So if you have a year to devote to it, you can play a different two each week!

Our apartments are convenient, well designed and luxurious. There are two bedrooms with twin beds (one with a full en suite bathroom) another fully fitted bathroom, a well appointed separate kitchen and a lounge with dining table for six that leads to a small balcony. There is a sofa bed which allows the apartment to sleep six people.
The apartments are fitted to high standard and include the facilities one would expect. In the fully-fitted kitchen there is a microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and washer/drier.
The spacious open-plan lounge/dining room comfortably seats six people around a classic Scottish fireplace Each apartment has a French window and a balcony on to the extensive managed gardens.
As well as the golf courses the apartments are within easy reach of other leisure outdoor pursuits, good restaurants, shops and traditional pubs. And Culzean Castle - the favourite Scottish haunt of President Eisenhower.
